"The other day I was tinkering around in my garage and I decided to build a new ideology"

Mencious Moldbug (*Curtis Yarvin), The Formalist Manifesto, 2007

"Ideology Generator" is a speculative and participatory workshop that explores the intersection of technology, social imagination, and future governance. Participants were invited to engage in social dreaming, using technological tools and speculative thinking to envision radical futures and alternative systems of power. This workshop acts as an ideological playground, where the boundaries of what is possible are pushed, and new political imaginaries can take shape.

Inspired by Curtis Yarvin's quote "The other day I was tinkering around in my garage and I decided to build a new ideology", workshops were held in a garage on the outskirts of Krakow. The literal transfer of the words of Yarvin's controversial neo-monarchist figure created a subversive playground for socio-political dreaming. Using simple AI tools, participants imagined alternative visions of how countries could be organised.

The framework of the project was based on the CIA World Factbook to guide our exploration. Together with Günseli Yalcinkaya, we encouraged everyone to think creatively and design new ideas about governance and society in a hands-on, do-it-yourself environment.
